Creative Process

STEP 1

We begin with a detailed conversation with you, to help us establish the visual parameters for your particular project. We focus on your industry, ideal demographic and desired visual direction.

STEP 2

The brainstorming begins in our secret design lab. We do research, make word maps and lists, sketch and drink a little coffee—okay, a lot of coffee (that’s our favorite part).

STEP 3

Next, we put pen to paper and develop a range of unique, distinctive concepts. Within the sketches, we’ll note plenty of ideas regarding type treatments and graphic elements to explore.

STEP 4

We take the best of our sketches and build them in a digital format, revising and modifying the strongest concepts. We then present the initial round of logo treatments to you.

STEP 5

As difficult as it may be, we ask you to narrow the field to one defined direction. We then put the finishing touches on your new logo (soon to be the envy of your professional colleagues).

STEP 6

Lastly, we help you choose a dynamic color palette to complement the final logo. As part of our logo design service, we also build a master archive for your records and personal use.

VISUAL LANGUAGE

Once the logo is complete, we begin work creating a unique library of visual elements that speak with a complimentary voice. In other words, we create a memorable brand language.

In the case of Xander & Cole, being a vegan food truck, we were inspired by vegetables themselves. The result was a alphabet of hand-cut potato stamps.
