In an effort to “identify diverse talent, provide development and mentorship, and afford participants opportunity to create short-form content for HBO,” the cable network created HBOAccess.

The initiative is a four-week program which provides project development, master classes and mentorship for chosen filmmakers. Alphabet Arm was hired to design the HBOAccess logotype as well as the look and feel of the campaign. The challenge was to create an aesthetic that spoke to the many areas of filmmaking as well as the diverse cross-section of applicants.
